# 1. Basic Settings

In the step **Basic Settings**, you name the landing page and define its URL.

## Navigation Path

*Content > Landing Pages*, then click **Create**, or open a landing page with **Edit**.

## Settings

| Setting | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Name** | Mandatory. Internal name of the landing page. Visitors do not see it. |
| **Description** | Optional. Internal description. |
| **Domain** | Mandatory. Domain of the landing page URL. If your system has only one domain, it is preset and cannot be changed. |
| **Page Name** | Mandatory. Last part of the landing page URL. Must be unique and cannot contain spaces or special characters. You do not need a file extension such as `.html`. |
