# Exports: 1. Type

## Overview

In this step, users define the export’s type, assign a name, and optionally add a description. The selected export type determines the kind of data being exported, enabling tailored analysis and data integration.

## Settings Table

| **Setting** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Type** | Defines the kind of data to be exported. Only export types available to the user based on permissions are shown. Available types include: - *Recipient Activity* – Email engagement metrics like opens, clicks, bounces, and conversions - *Tracking Data for Landing Pages* – Visit data for landing pages created in Engage - *Sendout Details for Coupons* – Coupon usage details, with optional list filtering - *Aggregated Link Clicks* – Summary data for all message link clicks - *Related Data* – Data from related datasets - *Aggregated Recipient Activity* – Summarized recipient interaction data - *Raw Data Export* – Includes detailed recipient profile, message, and interaction data - *Simplified Data Export* – Exports only the first instance of selected events (e.g., first click) |
| **Name** | Sets the internal name of the export. Maximum 200 characters. |
| **Description** | Optional. Describes the export for reference. Maximum 2000 characters. |
