1. Navigate to Data Management > Exports.

2. Click the Create button.

Step 3. Parameters​

This step defines the messages for which event data will be exported. Event data is always associated with a specific message. You can select messages individually, by category, or based on group or group category. It is also possible to combine message and group criteria in a single export configuration.

Parameter Settings

Export Messages

This section allows you to specify which messages are included in the export file:

• Export All Messages: This option exports event data for all messages in the system. The file size may be large if many messages are included. This option also ensures the inclusion of mobile push event data.

• Export Specific Messages: Exports data only for selected messages. The window expands to allow message selection.

  • This option allows a maximum of 10,000 message IDs to be exported per data export. This limitation does not apply to the "Export All Messages" option.

  • Note: Data from archived messages is never included in the export.

Select by Group

You can select messages based on group-related criteria:

• Specific Groups: Select messages sent to one or more specific groups by clicking the Add button to search and select groups.

• Group Categories: Select messages in one or more group categories. This enables you to select multiple groups with the same category in one step. All messages sent in the selected groups or categories are included in the export.

  • Available: Displays all group categories in the system.

  • Selected: Displays the categories selected for export.

Event data for the selected groups or categories includes:

• Data from messages sent within the defined time frame.

• Data from messages sent in the 30 days before the defined time frame (tracking events like clicks and conversions often occur shortly after sendout).

Regardless of the message sendout date, event data is limited to what was registered within the defined time frame.

You can also specify the messages for which event data is exported:

• Specific Messages: Select specific messages by clicking the Add button to search and select messages.

• Message Categories: You can select messages by category, enabling you to select multiple messages at once. All messages sent with the selected categories are included in the export.

  • Available: Displays all message categories in the system.

  • Selected: Displays the categories selected for export.

Event data for the selected message categories includes:

• Data from messages sent within the defined time frame.

• Data from messages sent in the 30 days before the defined time frame (since tracking events like clicks      and conversions often happen shortly after sendout).

As with groups, event data is limited to what was registered within the defined time frame.

Additional Options​

• ​Cancel:​ Closes the creation or editing of the export after an additional confirmation request. All changes are lost.

• ​Show Messages:​ This opens a window where you can view the 20 most recent messages in the export.

• ​Back:​ Opens the previous step in the wizard.

• ​Next: ​Opens the next step in the wizard.
