Overview
This step defines which messages are used as the basis for collecting event data in the export. Since all exported events are tied to a message, this selection controls the scope of the data. Messages can be selected directly or through group- or category-based rules, allowing flexible and precise targeting.

Setting | Description |

Export All Messages | Includes all messages from the system in the export. This option ensures complete data coverage and includes mobile push events. |
Export Specific Messages | Limits export to selected messages, groups, or categories. Maximum of 10,000 message IDs per export. Archived messages are excluded. Activates the additional configuration areas below. |

Available / Selected | Lists available and selected items (categories or groups) to help manage inclusion criteria. Applies to both group and message categories. |

Additional Information
Message selection can be based on a combination of message-level and group-level criteria.
For group- and category-based selection, event data includes:
Events from messages sent within the defined export time frame.
Events from messages sent up to 30 days before the export time frame (to account for delayed user interactions like clicks or conversions).
Regardless of the message sendout date, only events recorded within the selected export time frame are included.
