    Alert type

    • Smart Alert Based on machine learning, the system will automatically compare historical data to current data. If there is a significant change, you get informed.

    • Rule-based Alert
You select the criteria when an Alert should be triggered.

      • Change by absolute: checks for a change of an absolute number

      • Change by %: checks for a change of a relative share

      • Greater than:  checks for an absolute number

      • Smaller than:  checks for an absolute number

    • Comparison Timeframes

Alerts compare changes between two time periods:

      • Yesterday with day in previous week

      • Last 7 days with previous 7 days

      • Last month with previous month

      • Last month with same month last year

      • Last 7 days with same 7 days before

    Sensitivity

(only for Alert type Smart Alert)

It lets you decide how tolerant the trigger is to unexpected values.

    Anomalies

What kind of changes the alert is triggered by. This can be either Spikes, Drops, or both.

    Frequency

Determines how often an alert is checked.

    • Hourly: Once per hour. Data is always checked for the hour before the last hour, as it must be assured that all data is available. Example: An alert recognized at 11am shows an anomaly for the hours 9–10.

    • Daily: Once per day. The check is done in the morning (system time) when the data for the previous day is available.
