# API Client IDs

On this page, you can get an overview of your existing API client IDs and create new ones.

|  | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| Client ID | a generated identification for use with the secret to retrieve tokens |
| Client Secret | acts as a kind of password and can be copied to your clipboard by clicking on it |
| Description | a description is given to help differentiate the Client IDs |
| Token Validity Time | how long the tokens for this Client ID are valid |
| Owner | the login of the profile owner |
| Created | the creation date |
| Status | lets you (de-)activate a Client ID |
| Actions | You may either edit or delete the Client ID here |
