Goal
To create a block component which is then used to create the content for your messages or microsites.
Prerequisites
Visual Templates (email, forms, and general content creation) is an extra feature that must be enabled for your Mapp Empower system. For more information, contact your account manager.
Background Information
A block represents a specific component in your content. This component can be used to create the content for the following channels:
Email messages
Email templates
Microsites
During the content creation, you fill the block with content.
Once a block is created in the system, you can reuse this block for all your email templates, email messages, and microsites. A framework defines where you can place a block in the final content.
When you edit a block, all changes to the block are automatically applied to any email template, email message, or microsite that uses this block. Changes do not apply to previous uses of the content.
