Audience
The Audience section provides access to tools for understanding, managing, and activating contacts in Mapp Engage. It is where you define who receives messages, how contacts are organized, and how subscriptions and permissions are handled.
Use this section to manage contact data, define target audiences, and meet privacy requirements.
Contact Management
View and update contact profiles, manage group memberships, import and export contact data, and anonymize contacts to meet data privacy regulations.
Blacklists
Exclude specific contacts from receiving messages. Blacklists can be applied at the system or group level to prevent delivery and avoid re-importing excluded contacts.
Segmentation
Create dynamic segments based on profile attributes, behavioral data, or related data. Segments can be used in sendouts, automations, and CMS content.
Deactivated
Automatically deactivate contacts when delivery issues occur. Rules define when contacts are deactivated and under which conditions they can be reactivated.
Group Management
Organize contacts into groups to control sendouts and permissions, including SuperGroups and shared group attributes.
Location Management
Use geolocation data from mobile apps to trigger location-based push notifications. This feature requires integration with a mobile SDK.
Data
The Data section supports the exchange of audience-related information between Mapp Engage and external systems, enabling automated data flows and outbound data usage.
Use this section to synchronize audience data, make contact information available to connected systems, and support reporting or downstream processing.
Mapp Connect Integrations
Access integrations that synchronize audience data between Mapp Engage and connected external systems using Mapp Connect.
Exports
Export contact, group, and related audience data for use in external systems or reporting.
