# Best Channel

Best Channel allows you to split contacts based on which channel is most used by the contact: Email, SMS, Push or InApp. This is an optional feature, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager in order to have this activated.

## Configuration

You can add up to four channels via **Add Path**, but the pre-selected channels are SMS and Email. You can remove channels by selecting the X icon.

**Default Channel** should be defined in case no information is calculated for the contact.
