# Can Attribution Settings Be Changed Retroactively?

**Q: If I change the attribution model or settings, will it apply to past data?**

A: No, attribution settings are not retroactively applied. Any changes to the attribution model or configurations will only affect data collected after the changes are made. For previous data, the original attribution settings will remain in effect.
