    Navigation Path​

    1. In the ​Main Navigation​, click ​Audience​ > ​Contact Management> All Contacts.

      The ​Contact Management​ window opens.

    2. In the ​Actions​ column, click the symbol.
      ⇒The ​Contact Profile​ window opens.

    3. Click ​Change Address​.

      The ​Change Contact Address​ window opens.

    Purpose​

    This window lets you manually update address information for a contact.

    What can I do in this window?

    • Edit an existing address that is used to send messages to a contact.

    • Add new address information for an additional channel.

    • Delete address information for a specific channel.

    ​Delete​

    Removes the address information for a channel that already contains an address for this contact.

    You cannot delete an address if it is the only address that Mapp Engage stores for the contact.

    You cannot delete an email address if the contact is linked to a system user.

    ​Save​

    Saves the changes that are entered for any channel and updates the contact profile.

    ​Cancel​

    Closes the window without saving your changes.

    WARNING!

    When you click the ​Delete​ button, Mapp Engage deletes the address immediately after an additional confirmation request. You do not need to click the ​Save​ button to delete the address.

    Description

    ​ Email​

    Defines the new email address that is used to send email messages to this contact.

    The email address can contain letters, numbers, and some special characters. The address can contain one or more dots. The local part (before the @ sign) cannot begin or end with a dot or contain two dots in a row.

    Mapp Engage uses a regular expression to validate the syntax of an email address. If the address does not match this pattern, it cannot be stored in the system. The regular expression is written as shown here:

    ​ Mobile Number​

    Defines the new mobile phone number that is used to send SMS messages to this contact.

    Enter the mobile phone number with the country code. Mapp Engage checks the input and removes zeros before the country and provider codes. Mapp Engage removes any hyphens in the mobile number.

    ​ Mobile App Alias​

    Defines the new mobile app alias that is used to send push notifications to this contact.

    ​Send Confirmation Message​

    • ​Yes:​ Mapp Engage sends a system message to the contact that asks the contact to approve of the change before it is saved in Mapp Engage

    • ​No:​ Mapp Engage saves the changes. The contact does not receive a system message to approve the change.
