Purpose
This window provides you with insights into the number of active and deactivated contacts in your system, including developments over time.
What can I do in this window?
Analyze the development of your audience over time.
View the number of contacts in your system at any given historical moment.
Compare the number of active and system-wide deactivated contacts.
You need the following permission to view these statistics 1112 Statistics: View System-wide Contact Statistics.
Basic Information
Field | Description |
---|---|
System Name | Displays the name of your Engage system. |
ID | Displays the ID of the Engage system. |
Creation Date | Displays the date and time when the system was created. |
Domain | Displays the domain or domains associated with your Engage system. |
Groups and Contacts
Field | Description |
---|---|
Groups | Displays the total number of groups in the system at the time the data was last calculated. |
Contacts (Total) | Displays the total number of contacts in the system at the time the data was last calculated. |
Active Contacts | Displays the total and percentage of all active contacts in the system at the time the data was last calculated. |
System-wide Deactivated Contacts | Displays the total and percentage of all system-wide deactivated contacts at the time the data was last calculated. A deactivated contact is a contact to whom you no longer send messages, due to a history of deliverability problems. Deactivation is triggered by responses (non-delivery notifications sent by the contact's MTA to Engage after a sendout). System-wide Deactivated Contacts exclude contacts who are only deactivated for a specific group. |
Last Calculated | Displays the date and time of the last calculation. Engage calculates the statistics daily. |
Contact Development (Charts)
Four charts create a visual representation of the development of your contacts over time.
You can use the controls to adjust the time frame that the chart displays.
Move your mouse over the chart to see information for that date.
Setting | Description |

Contacts (Total) | Displays the total number of contacts in the system over time. Move your mouse over the chart to see information for that date. Select an area of the chart to zoom in on those dates. Each data point provides you with the following information: Number (difference/percentage).

Active Contacts | Displays the total and percentage of all active contacts in the system over time. Move your mouse over the chart to see information for that date. Select an area of the chart to zoom in on those dates. An active contact is any contact who is not deactivated system-wide. Each data point provides you with the following information: Number (difference/percentage).

Net Growth | Displays the change in the number of contacts since the previous day. Move your mouse over the chart to see information for that date. Select an area of the chart to zoom in on those dates. |
Adjust the Chart Display
The curve chart provides several filtering options for defining the time frame for analysis.
Setting | Description |

Zoom | The predefined time frames filter the display of membership development data as follows:

From/To | These input fields define the time frame displayed in the curve chart. The time frame is entered in the format MM-DD-YYYY . |
Scrollbar | The scrollbar navigates to a specific date. The sliding controls define the displayed time frame. The dates displayed in the input fields From/To are updated according to the time frame selected. |
