    Setting

    Description

    Content Store ID​

    Shows the ID of the content store element. When you create a content store element, Engage assigns a unique ID number automatically. You can use this ID number to search for the element from anywhere in the system.

    Owner

    Shows the email address of the system user who created the Content Element. It is not possible to change the owner of the Content Element.

    Name

    Shows the name of the Content Element.

    • The name does not have to be unique and can be edited.

    • If you upload the image to a CMS paragraph, Engage uses the file name to generate the name of the Content Element.

    • If you upload the image during HTML email creation, Mapp Engage uses the name of the image in the message body to name the Content Element.

    Contributor Email​

    Shows the email address of the author of the Content Element (if applicable). When multiple team members work on the same email, the system user responsible for the content of the Content Element is the author. The author and the owner do not need to be identical.

    Due Date​

    Shows when the Content Element is needed. When multiple team members work on the same email, you can set a deadline for content delivery.

    • ​Send Reminder:​ Sends a reminder email to the author of the Content Element about the due date of the Content Element. Engage sends the reminder message immediately.

    Type

    Identifies the type of content. Mapp Engage supports the following file formats:

    You can store the following types of files in the content store:

    • Images:​ JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG

    • Text:​ Plain Text, Rich Text

    • Media: Video, Music, Audio

    • Other:​ Multipart message, Application

    Each content store element is automatically sorted to the correct tab depending on the MIME type of the file. The ​All files tab displays all content store elements on one tab.

    Visible to Everyone​

    Defines whether the content store element is visible to all users in the Engage system.

    • Yes:​ The Content Element is publicly visible to all system users in the Engage system.

    • No:​ The Content Element is not visible to other system users in the Engage system.

    Creation Date​

    Shows when the element was added to the content store. Use the calendar icons to filter for content store elements created within a specific date range.

    Expiration Date​

    Shows the date when the content store element expires. After the element expires, it is deleted from the system. You can set an expiration date when creating the Content Element.

    Automatic Expiration Date​

    Deletes the element 180 days after the last time the element is used in the system. Each time the element is accessed, Engage resets the time before expiration to 180 days. If the element is not accessed for six months, it is deleted from the system.

    You can set the automatic expiration date when creating the Content Element.

    Encoding

    Shows the file encoding for the content element (if applicable).

    Status

    Shows the status of the content store element. The status is set in the ​Settings window. The message author sets the status to indicate whether the content store element is ready to be used in a message.

    A content store element can have one of the following states:

    • Open

    • In progress

    • Ready

    Category

    Assigns the content store element to a category. Use categories to manage and organize content store elements in your system.
