# Creating a Location Cluster

## Goal

Create a location cluster in Mapp Engage.

## Prerequisites

1. The relevant Mapp SDK is integrated with your mobile applications.
2. Location Management is enabled in your Engage system. If it is not enabled, contact your account manager.

## Procedure

### Creating a cluster while configuring a location

1. In the main navigation, go to *Audience > Location Manager*.
2. Click **Create Location**.
3. In **Step 1. Info**, enter a unique **Name** and an optional **Description**, then click **Next**.
4. In **Step 2. Configure**, define the location address, and set the **Diameter** (maximum 500 m), then click **Next**.
5. In **Step 3. Cluster**, choose **Add to new cluster**.
6. In the **Create a new cluster** pop-up enter the name and optinally a description of the cluster and click create.
7. Click **Next**, then follow the creation flow until **Step 5: Summary.**
8. Click **Save**, then **Activate**, and **Close**.

When created during Location configuration, the new cluster contains one location.

### Creating a cluster in the Clusters tab

1. Navigate to *Audience > Location Management*.
2. Open the **Clusters** tab.
3. Click **Create Cluster**.
4. In **Create Cluster**, enter a unique **Name**. Optionally add a **Description**.
5. Click **Create**.

When created in the **Clusters** tab, the new cluster doesn’t contain any locations.
