Create and Manage Blocks (CMS)

Goal

Create reusable blocks to structure and build content for emails, templates, and microsites.


Prerequisites

  • Content Management is enabled for your system. Contact your account manager if activation is required.

  • If you cannot access this feature, your permissions might be restricted. Contact your system administrator.


Procedure

1. Create a Block

  1. In the Main Navigation, click Content Management > Email > Blocks.

  2. Click Create.

  3. Define the block information:

  • Select a Type (for example, Email or Form).

  • Enter a Name.

  • Optionally, add a description to clarify the block’s purpose.

  1. Click Save.


2. Define the Block Content

Open the block and click Edit.

  • For Email blocks: Add or paste the HTML code provided by your email developer.

  • For Form blocks: Click Build Form, then drag the required elements onto the canvas and configure the fields as needed.

Save your changes when finished.


3. Update Blocks Across Templates

When editing a block, you can enable automatic updates to apply the changes wherever the block is used.

  • Enabled: Updates apply to all templates that contain the block.

  • Disabled: Only the current block version is updated.

Changes do not affect emails that were already sent.

Warning

Automatic updates do not apply to blocks used in scheduled or prepared messages.
