Create an Email Template (CMS)

Goal​

Create a reusable email template based on an existing framework.

Prerequisites​

  • Content Management (Email) is enabled for your system. Contact your account manager if activation is required.

  • At least one framework and the required blocks are available.

  • If you cannot access this feature, your permissions might be restricted. Contact your system administrator.


Procedure

1. Select a Framework

  1. In the Main Navigation, click Content Management > Email.

  2. Open the Email Templates tab.

  3. Click Create.

  4. Enter a name for the template.

  5. Select the desired framework from the list.

    Note

    The framework cannot be changed after saving. If you selected the wrong framework, create a new template.

  6. Click Save.


2. Add Template Information (Optional but Recommended)

  1. Open the Information tab.

  2. On the General tab, enter the template details.

    • The Name field is mandatory. Adding a description is recommended to help identify the template later.

    • If you select a Group, related group membership attributes can be used as sendout conditions.

  3. Click Save to store your changes before continuing.


3. Build the Template Layout

  1. Open the Edit tab.

  2. Drag the required blocks into the desired positions to build your layout.

    Note

    The block configuration and positioning can still be adjusted when creating the email message.

  3. Click Save to keep your changes, or Save & Close to finish template creation.
