Create an HTML Email Message

Goal​

Create an HTML email message and define its content using the editor or by uploading existing content.

For an overview of email message types, see Email Model in Mapp Engage.

Procedure

1. Navigate to Create > New > Message.

2. Select Email Message.

3. Select HTML Email.

4. Enter the required message details.

5. Click Create.

6. In Step 2: Content, define the email content:

   • Use the HTML editor.

   • Edit the HTML code directly.

   • Click Upload Message to upload existing content.

7. To insert dynamic content, click Personalization or Mapp Engage Variables.

8. Define a plain-text version if required.

9. Click Save as Draft or Prepare Sendout.

Result

The HTML email message is created and saved as a draft or ready for sendout configuration.
