Creating Leading or Closing Content for Group Messages

Goal

Add the same leading or closing content to every message sent from a specific group.


Background Information

Leading and closing content is defined at the group level and applied automatically during sendout.
This content is stored separately for each group and can differ between HTML and text messages.

Typical use cases include:

  • A static key visual or greeting at the beginning of a message

  • A standardized signature or legal footer at the end of a message


Procedure

  1. Navigate to Audience > Group Management > Groups.

  2. Edit the group where you want to add leading or closing content by clicking the corresponding option in the Actions column.

  3. Open the Sendout Settings tab.

  4. Expand Leading or Closing Content for Emails.

  5. Enter the required content in the appropriate input field.

  6. Click Save.

During sendout, the stored content is automatically inserted:

  • At the beginning of the message as the leading content

  • At the end of the message as closing content

The system applies the content to the correct channel, HTML or text, depending on the message format.
