    Data Source

    Determines how data is encoded:

    • Coupon List – Uses codes from a selected list. If no codes are available, the Alternative Barcode is used. Behavior follows list settings (see Create New Coupon List). You can also search coupon lists by name, ID, description, owner, or last updated date.

    • Custom Attribute – Uses recipient-specific values. If missing, the Alternative Barcode is used. If that is empty, the message is skipped. Attributes can also be searched by name.

    • Input – Uses fixed manual input. The barcode is static and not recipient-specific. It does not support tracking like barcodes based on dynamic data. Can be saved as a Content Store Element (see Use a Content Store Element in an Email).
