Create New Coupon List

Overview

Create a coupon list with fallback behavior for missing coupons, preview text for test messages, and optional reminder notifications when the list runs low.

💡 Creating a complete setup ensures that sendouts continue smoothly, even if the list runs out of coupons.

Navigation Path

Content > Voucher Manager > Coupons
Click Create to open the Create New Coupon List window

Settings

Setting	Description
Name	Unique list name. Must be lowercase, without spaces or underscores. Special characters are not recommended. Max. length: 50 characters.
Description	Optional description to identify the list. Recommended if multiple lists are in use. Max. length: 200 characters.
Insufficient Number of Coupons	Defines sendout behavior when no coupons are available: Display Alternative Text – Replaces the coupon with predefined text. (see Show Message Parts Using Available Coupons) Pause Sendout – Temporarily stops the sendout until more coupons are uploaded. (see Resume Sendout of a Coupon Message).
Alternative Text	Text shown if no coupon is available. Supports personalization with InsertIfs. Max. length: 200 characters.
Preview Text	Text shown in test and preview messages instead of real coupons. Defaults to `<listname>_previewCoupon` if empty. Max. length: 200 characters.
Remind Owner	Sends a notification when coupon supply drops below a defined threshold. The reminder is sent as a system message (`SysMsgCouponAlert`) and is visible under Messages > System Messages > System-Wide.
Send Reminder When	Sets the coupon threshold that triggers the reminder (visible only if reminders are enabled).
Send Additional Reminder To	Optional: Enter an additional Engage user to receive the system message. Only registered Engage users can be selected via Member Search.
User Search	Opens the Member Search dialog to select the additional recipient.

Actions

Action	Description
Save	Creates the coupon list and returns to the overview.
Cancel	Discards changes and returns to the overview.
