Create Pixel (window)

​Pixel Name​

Enter a name that clearly reflects the purpose or client for which the pixel collects data.

​Labels​

Select an option from the drop-down list. Or enter the name of the label you want to create in the field. It appears in a drop-down list. Select it to create it and enter it into the input field. Choose labels that provide a meaningful overview of your data collection.

​Interaction Tracking​

Specify the type of visitor interaction you want to track.

• ​ Time on Page:​ Tracks the number of seconds or minutes the visitor spends on a page of the website.

• ​ Page Scroll:​ Tracks the depth to which the visitor scrolled the target page.

• ​ Webform Interactions:​ Tracks visitor interaction with any web form on the website and the type of interaction it is. Webform interaction includes search bars and form field focus, key downs, and clicks.

​User Data​

Specify the data you want to collect for each visitor to your website.

• ​Browser Data:​ Collects the browser version, language, country, date, time, and browser resolution.

• ​ User Details:​ Collects the details of a visitor who logged into your website, including email address (unhashed) and name.

• ​ Webform Input:​ Collects the data that the visitor entered in any web form on the website. Web forms include search bars and forms when checking out. The data is saved unhashed. This means that exact values are saved for name, email address, and other input, depending on the web form.

• ​ Hashed Email:​ Collects the email of the visitor whenever it is entered during the visit and stores it following a hash algorithm. The use of a hash algorithm prevents the collection of personally identifiable information (PII). Algorithms that are used include MD5, SHA1, and SHA256.

​Website Data​

Specify the website data that you want to collect for each visitor to your website.

• ​ Average Price on Page:​ Analyses all prices on a page of the website, calculates average price, and captures average price for that page.

• ​ Clicked Elements:​ Collects all the elements on which a visitor clicked.

• ​ Common Words:​ Analyses all words on a page of the website and determines which words appear most frequently.

• ​ Qubit Universal Variable:​ Collects data that relates to the journey of your visitors, such visitor details, products viewed, and transactions. (It is integrated automatically with your Mapp pixel.)

• ​ Google Analytics:​ Collects order ID and total revenue. (It is integrated automatically with your DMP pixel.)

​Configure On-Site​

Opens the ​Configure On-Site​ window in which you add custom events and custom success events to structure the data that is collected for this pixel.

​Save and Export​

Saves your entries and opens the ​Export​ window.

​Cancel​

Cancels your entries, after an additional confirmation question.
