Create Social Share

Goal
To allow subscribers to share the contents of the message to social media. The following social media options are available
Facebook
LinkedIn
Twitter
Pinterest
Google+ is deprecated by Google effective April 2019.
Navigation Path
In the Create message step, go to the HTML Format pane.
In the HTML Format pane, click the Create Social Share button.
⇒ The Create Social Share window opens as a pop-up.
Alternatively, you can open Social Share from the navigation bar.
In the Navigation, click Social > Create Social Share.
⇒ The Create Social Share window opens.
Procedure
In the Create Social Share window, click the checkbox for the social network to enable social sharing.
You can change the display order of social media in the message. To rearrange the order, click the shaded upper left-hand corner of the social network box and drag the box to the preferred location.
⇒ The options for sharing to social networks appear in the window.To change the Preview options, click Choose Icon Set.
⇒ A popup appears to select the size of the social media icons for the message.
Only the icons for the selected networks display. Click the desired icon size.
To enter a custom URL for the link, Click Custom URL in the Share URL option.
⇒ An input field opens for you to enter the URL.
The URL must include the http:// or https:// element.To accept the default link, click Hosted Version of the Email.
⇒ An input field opens for you to enter the title of the shared content.
In the Description input field, enter a description for the shared content.
If you are sharing to Pinterest , select the Image URL option.
To share an online image, select Media URL.
Enter the complete URL in the input field.
To share an image from the image library, select Browse Image Library.
⇒ The Choose Image button appears.
Click Choose Image.
⇒ The Image Library window opens.
Click the checkbox for the corresponding image and click Insert.
⇒ The link appears in the text field. You cannot edit this link.
Click Insert.
⇒ The Create Social Share window closes. The Social Share icons display in the HTML Format pane.
