Depending on your service level and integrations, not all of these data flows will apply. --- ## You to Mapp Fashion You may provide Mapp Fashion with multiple types of data as files that are transferred periodically. ### Product Feed You provide a [Product Feed](/v1/docs/product-feed-dressipi) containing product catalog information. This information is effectively public (for example, it could be scraped from your website). Although Mapp Fashion stores it encrypted at rest, it may not always be protected in transit prior to delivery. ### Transaction Data This information pertains to items purchased through your online store. This typically includes: - Information about items bought - A user (shopper) identifier of some sort (for example, a SHA256 hash of an email address or account ID) - Occasionally, information such as a name In general, this is transaction data for all your customers. #### Method of transfer You transfer files to Mapp Fashion via SFTP. Mapp Fashion provides SFTP credentials, or alternatively polls your SFTP server. ### Event Tracking You may send Mapp Fashion the following events to aid personalization and analysis. These are stored against pseudonym identifiers, such as a UUID or your customer database number. - Information about products viewed or interacted with (liked, scanned, added to wishlist) - Purchase data --- ## Browser to Mapp Fashion ### Tracking Data You place our JavaScript on your pages. This JavaScript captures information such as which pages shoppers have viewed or what items they have ordered. The captured information does not include personal data; however, it contains enough information for us to link to personal data that we do hold. Usually, tracking data is collected for all users. ### Usage Data We may also capture interactions performed by the shopper, such as: - Liking/disliking items - Adding items to a wishlist - Scanning items --- ## Mapp Fashion to You We send you data if you integrate with Mapp Fashion via a [server API Integration](https://docs.mapp.com/apidocs/introduction-2). In this case, the information that would normally be displayed directly in the shopper’s browser/app (such as recommended items and outfits) is sent via your servers.
