Delete Data Columns in the Related Data Set

Goal
To delete individual columns within a related data set.
Prerequisite
You have permission to create and edit related data sets.
You have permission to view, edit, and delete only your own related data sets: Permission 150 system_view_edit_own_related_data.
You have permission to view, edit, and delete all related data sets: Permission 153 system_edit_all_related_data.
Additionally, columns cannot be deleted if the dataset contains data. You can still archive it if needed.
Hint:
When data from a related data set is used in a message or in a selection, the placeholder or filter is not automatically updated. If you aren't sure, please check that no current processes need data from the related data set. Otherwise you may experience an error when trying to delete the column.
Procedure
In the Main Navigation, click Administration > Attributes.
Click the Related Data tab.
⇒ The Related Data Overview window opens.Click the symbol to display the structure of the related data set from which you would like to delete a data column.
⇒ The Related Data structure for dataset: <Name> opens.Select the column that you would like to delete.
Click Archive.
⇒ The column and all data that is saved in the column are now archived. This data can no longer be used in the Mapp Engage system.From the Show list, choose Archived.
⇒ Only archived columns are displayed.Select the columns that you would like to delete.
Click Delete.
⇒ The selected columns are deleted. Deleted columns cannot be restored.
