# Edit an Export

### Goal

Modify an existing export configuration without creating a new export.

> Important
> 
> Changes affect future exports only. Previously generated files remain unchanged.
> 
> If the export is used in automated workflows or data pipelines, validate significant changes before relying on the updated configuration.

### Procedure

1. Go to *Data Management > Exports*.
2. Locate the export you want to modify.
3. Click **Edit** in the Actions column.
4. Update the configuration in the wizard and click **Save**.
