# Edit Time-based Job (window)

## Navigation Path​

In the ​**Main Navigation**​, click ​*Automations​* *>* *​Automations*​ *> Time-Based > Create*

## Basic Settings​

| **​Name​** | The name is used to identify the automation in the system. The maximum length is 100 characters. |
| --- | --- |
| **​Description​** | The description makes it easier to identify the automation in the system. This is helpful if many automations of the same type are created. |
| **​Job​** | This input field defines the job. Find a list of all available jobs [here](/v1/docs/automations-jobs). |

## Define Job

This area defines the specific parameters of the job. The fields displayed here depend on the specific job.

## Define Segment

| **Segment** | A segment filters contacts according to defined conditions. |

## Schedule​
