# Enrich Customer Profiles With External Data

The HTTP connector allows you to get, and utilize user-specific data from your other business tools in real-time and enrich your contacts' profiles.

## Scenario

You want to reward your customers for reaching a certain loyalty status based on points collected on their loyalty card.

1. Create a Whiteboard.
2. Use the HTTP connector to fetch the loyalty points data from and external CRM or loyalty system.
3. Define thresholds of different loyalty levels (for example: Gold, Silver, none), with the use of conditions.
4. Update the Contact Profile in Mapp Engage with this information.

Build similar workflows based on customers' spend and/or other criteria.
