# Entry Source Type

**Shows the tracked referrer type on the entry page.**

Mapp Intelligence differentiates

| Search Engines | All entries via search engines. |
| --- | --- |
| Social Media Sources | All entries, that are no search engines, and that are listed in the marketing configuration (*Mapp Q3 > Configuration > Marketing Configuration > Social Media Referrer*). |
| Other Sources | All entries, that were not made via search engines or social media sources. |
| Direct | All entries, for which no other origin type could be recorded. This can be direct entries, access via bookmarks, or via email software. |
