Export Blacklist Entries (System and Group)

Goal

Export the current blacklist entries to a CSV file in Mapp Engage:

• for the entire system (System Blacklist), or

• for a specific group (Group Blacklist)

The exported file is delivered via email and can include optional metadata such as creation date and verification status.
The file reflects only the data columns currently selected in the UI.

Prerequisites

To export blacklist entries, the following permissions are required:

• 229 – Data Import and Export: Export User Data (for System Blacklist)

• 519 – Data Import and Export: Export Group Blacklists (for Group Blacklist)

Note:

If the Export button is disabled, please contact your administrator to confirm that the required permissions are assigned to your user role.

Procedure

You can export blacklist entries either from the System Blacklist or from a Group Blacklist.
Before exporting, you can select which types of entries are visible (Email, Mobile, Domain) — the export will include only those.

Export System Blacklist

Navigation path: Audience > Blacklist > System Blacklist

1. Go to Audience > Blacklist > System Blacklist

2. Use the column selector to choose which entry types to include:

   • Email

   • Mobile

   • Domain

3. Click Export

4. In the export dialog, optionally enable:

   • ✅ Verified – Export only entries that have been confirmed as deleted

   • ✅ Creation Date – Include the date each entry was added

5. Click Export to confirm

📧 You will receive an email with a link to download the CSV file.
🕒 Please note: The export is processed in the background and may take several hours to complete.
🔗 The download link is valid for 7 days.

Export Group Blacklist

Navigation path: Audience > Blacklist > Group Blacklist

1. Go to Audience > Blacklist > Group Blacklist

2. Select the desired group from the Group dropdown

3. Use the column selector to choose which entry types to include:

   • Email

   • Mobile

   • Domain

4. Click Export

5. In the export dialog, optionally enable:

   • ✅ Verified – Export only entries that have been confirmed as deleted

   • ✅ Creation Date – Include the date each entry was added

6. Click Export to confirm

📧 You will receive an email with a link to download the CSV file.
🕒 Please note: The export is processed in the background and may take several hours to complete.
🔗 The download link is valid for 7 days.

Verified Status Explained

After a contact or domain is added to the blacklist, Mapp Engage verifies that the data has been successfully deleted.
Once this process is complete, the entry is marked as Verified.

This status ensures that your export includes only fully processed entries when using the Verified filter.
