# Generate Export

This job automates exports of the data that is stored in Mapp Engage, for example, for the purpose of using that data in external systems.

## Configuration

| Setting | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Export Definition** | Select the export from the drop-down menu. To configure your exports, go to *Data management > Exports*. For more information, see [Exports](/v1/docs/exports). |
