# Group Blacklist: Create or Import

## Overview

Use this interface to create or import group-level blacklists for email addresses, mobile numbers, or domains.

## Create a Group Blacklist

### Navigation path

1. *Audience > Blacklists > Group Blacklist*
2. Select the target group from the drop-down.
3. Click **Create**.

### Settings

| **Setting** | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **List Type** | Choose “Clear-text”, “MD5”, or “SHA-256”. With MD5 or SHA-256, only the Email field is available. |
| **Email** | Enter one or more email addresses. For MD5 or SHA-256, enter the hash values instead. |
| **Mobile Number** | Enter one or more mobile numbers. |
| **Domain** | Enter one or more domains. |

### Actions

| **Action** | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Create** | Opens the form to add blacklist entries for the selected group. |

## Import a Group Blacklist

### Navigation path

1. *Audience > Blacklists > Group Blacklist*
2. Select the target group from the drop-down.
3. Click **Import**.

### Settings

| **Setting** | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **File** | Select the source file to import. |
| **File Type** | Select “Text”. |
| **List Type** | Choose “Clear-text”, “MD5”, or “SHA-256”. With MD5 or SHA-256, the file may contain hashed email addresses only. For SHA-256, see [Add SHA-256 Hashed Entries to a Blacklist](https://docs.mapp.com/docs/en/add-sha-256-hashed-entries-to-blacklist). |
| **Character Set** | Select the character encoding (for example, “UTF-8”). |
| **Import Mode** | Select how entries are handled during import (for example, “Add”). |

| **Import** | Opens the import form to upload blacklist entries for the selected group. |
