Create and edit group-specific settings.
General Group Settings
Owner / Managers
The group owner and managers are displayed in the General Settings tab.
To assign roles within the group, refer to Assign a Group Role.
For instructions on assigning a group-owner role to a manager, see Change Group Owner.
Group Category
Each group can be assigned to a category, making it easier to manage statistical analysis and reporting across different types of groups.

To create a new group category, refer to Create New Group Category.
Country / Language
The country and language settings determine the default system message settings for the group. These settings can be adjusted in the General Settings tab.
Group Subscription Settings
Moderated Group Membership
When a group is moderated, the group moderator must approve every potential subscriber before they join the group.

MPS Parameters
MPS Parameters are added to request forms on Mapp Engage landing pages to indicate mandatory input fields. These parameters are configured in the General Settings tab.
Landing Pages
Landing pages are special web pages created in Mapp Engage, allowing recipients to update profile data or manage subscriptions.

Moderation and Notification Settings
Moderated Sendouts
When messages are moderated, an owner or manager must approve each message before it is sent.

Moderated Membership
When group membership is moderated, the moderator must personally approve every applicant.
For more information, see Moderated Group Memberships.

Owner Notifications
The group owner can receive notifications for every subscription and unsubscription. They can also receive XML notifications for sendouts, profile changes, (un)subscribes, bounces, and blacklisting. Notification settings are defined in the Notifications tab.
Message-Related Settings
Sendout Speed & Time
You can set the speed and timing of sendouts for the group. These settings are configured in the Sendout Options tab.
Sender Name
You can change the sender name and address for the group. These settings are created in the General Settings tab.
Channel
Set a preferred channel for all group sendouts. This applies to group members without a specific read mode stored in their attributes. Settings are entered in the Sendout Options tab.
Message Header / Footer
Create and store a specific header or footer for all group messages in the Sendout Options tab.
Deliverability Settings
List-Unsubscribe Header
Adds a visible unsubscribe button to a message, supported by most ISPs and email clients.

Responses and Deactivation
A spam complaint response triggers immediate deactivation of the recipient in the group. Other response categories have a default deactivation setting of one response within seven days. It is recommended to use deactivation settings provided by deliverability experts. Response handling settings are defined in the Deactivation tab.
Tracking Settings
Opens & Clicks
Preferences for tracking message opens and link clicks are set in the Tracking & Links tab.

Link Parameters (for web analytics)
Add parameters for external link tracking with a web analytics tool in the group settings.

Inbox Monitoring
Inbox Monitoring uses a seed list to test message deliverability across different domains.

Message Reply Settings
Reply Handling
This defines how Mapp Engage manages replies to messages (e.g. when a recipient uses the reply button in their email client).
Settings are configured in the Reply Handling tab.

IMAP Inbox
Configure reply handling for a group so replies are managed in an IMAP folder.
