    Create and edit group-specific settings.

    General Group Settings

    Owner / Managers

    Group Category

Each group can be assigned to a category, making it easier to manage statistical analysis and reporting across different types of groups.

    Country / Language

The country and language settings determine the default system message settings for the group. These settings can be adjusted in the General Settings tab.

    Group Subscription Settings

    Moderated Group Membership

When a group is moderated, the group moderator must approve every potential subscriber before they join the group.

    MPS Parameters

MPS Parameters are added to request forms on Mapp Engage landing pages to indicate mandatory input fields. These parameters are configured in the General Settings tab.

    Landing Pages

Landing pages are special web pages created in Mapp Engage, allowing recipients to update profile data or manage subscriptions.

    Moderation and Notification Settings

    Moderated Sendouts

When messages are moderated, an owner or manager must approve each message before it is sent.

    Moderated Membership

When group membership is moderated, the moderator must personally approve every applicant.

    Owner Notifications

The group owner can receive notifications for every subscription and unsubscription. They can also receive XML notifications for sendouts, profile changes, (un)subscribes, bounces, and blacklisting. Notification settings are defined in the Notifications tab.

    Message-Related Settings

    Sendout Speed & Time

You can set the speed and timing of sendouts for the group. These settings are configured in the Sendout Options tab.

    Sender Name

You can change the sender name and address for the group. These settings are created in the General Settings tab.

    Channel

Set a preferred channel for all group sendouts. This applies to group members without a specific read mode stored in their attributes. Settings are entered in the Sendout Options tab.

    Message Header / Footer

Create and store a specific header or footer for all group messages in the Sendout Options tab.

    Deliverability Settings

    List-Unsubscribe Header

Adds a visible unsubscribe button to a message, supported by most ISPs and email clients.

    Responses and Deactivation

A spam complaint response triggers immediate deactivation of the recipient in the group. Other response categories have a default deactivation setting of one response within seven days. It is recommended to use deactivation settings provided by deliverability experts. Response handling settings are defined in the Deactivation tab.

    Tracking Settings

    Opens & Clicks

Preferences for tracking message opens and link clicks are set in the Tracking & Links tab.

    Link Parameters (for web analytics)

Add parameters for external link tracking with a web analytics tool in the group settings.

    Inbox Monitoring

Inbox Monitoring uses a seed list to test message deliverability across different domains.

    Message Reply Settings

    Reply Handling

This defines how Mapp Engage manages replies to messages (e.g. when a recipient uses the reply button in their email client).
