# In-App Messages

In-app messages allow you to communicate with users while they are actively using your mobile app. Depending on the message type and delivery settings, messages can appear instantly or be stored in the user’s message center (Inbox).

Use in-app messaging to reach users at key moments, such as to welcome new users, promote updates, highlight offers, or respond to app behavior.
