# Increase Attendance by Promoting Exhibition Dates

This use case demonstrates a strategy marketers can use to increase recipient engagement by displaying relevant content - in this case, information about exhibition dates in their respective location.

All the steps we mention in the video are listed below.

**Prerequisites**

1. A custom attribute for the customer's area: [Create Custom Attribute](/v1/docs/create-custom-attribute). You can check whether the custom attribute has been set correctly by going to *Audience > Administration > All Contacts* and looking at a contact profile: ![](https://documentation.mapp.com/download/attachments/62751457/tempsnip.png?version=1&modificationDate=1715339728000&api=v2)
2. Segmentation for the target audience: [Create a Segment](/v1/docs/create-a-segment). The segment is called "Opt-Ins" and includes contacts whose Custom Attribute "Opt-In" is equal to *True*. The segment must be published before use. ![](https://documentation.mapp.com/download/attachments/62751457/image2024-5-10_13-20-1.png?version=1&modificationDate=1715340000000&api=v2)
3. A Content Store image for each area: [Create New Content Store Element](/v1/docs/create-new-content-store-element-window). Go to *Content > Content Store > Images* to make sure that you have images for each area, containing the dates and location of the exhibition in that area. ![](https://documentation.mapp.com/download/attachments/62751457/image2024-5-10_13-21-39.png?version=1&modificationDate=1715340098000&api=v2)
