# Content Engagement

The Content Engagement extension enables you to measure how intensively users interact with longer page content – for example, how far they read an article or how long they stayed in specific sections.

It records how much of a configured content element was visible to the user and allows you to analyze:

- Which content sections gained high attention
- How visibility changes over time or per device
- Which elements were never reached

The plugin is compatible with the Smart Pixel and supports both automatic and customized tracking strategies.

Common use cases include:

- Comparing content performance across long-form pages
- Identifying content that was only partially seen
- Triggering follow-up events based on visibility or engagement
