# Landing Page: Import HTML Content

## Navigation Path​

1. In the ​**Main Navigation**​ menu, click ​*Content​* *> ​Landing Pages​*.
2. Click ​**New Landing Page**.
3. In step **​2. Build & Design**​ click the**​Import HTML​**button.

## The Import Content window​

In the ​**Import HTML​** window, you can upload HTML content for the landing page. This can be a file from the local server or a content store element stored in Mapp Engage.

- **Import:** This entry defines where the HTML content is imported from.
  - **Local File:** This option imports an HTML file from a local server.
  - **Select from Content Store:** This radio button imports a content store element stored in Mapp Engage. This can be text or HTML.
- **File:** Here, select the file to import.
- **Browse:** This button enables you to search for the file to be imported.
  - ​For a Local File​: This button opens the window​ file upload​, where you can import a file from the local server.
  - ​For a file from the Content Store​: This button opens the window ​Content Store​, from which you can select a content store element for upload.
- **Character Set:** This drop-down list defines the character set of the landing page. This checkbox ensures that the characters are correctly displayed (see [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Character_encoding](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Character_encoding)).
- **Preview:** This area displays a preview of the imported HTML code. The HTML code cannot be edited.
- **Cancel:** This button cancels the import. All changes are lost.
- **Import:** The button imports the selected file. If the import is successful, the ​Import HTML​ window closes and the imported content is visible in the HTML code or editor.
