# Lifecycle ID

The *Lifecycle ID* uniquely identifies each Customer Journey in Mapp Intelligence.

A Customer Journey represents the complete sequence of campaign interactions that lead a visitor to achieve a specific website goal (for example, a purchase or newsletter signup). Each journey receives its own unique Lifecycle ID, making it possible to analyze and filter campaign contacts or conversions by individual journeys.

This dimension helps you distinguish between multiple journeys of the same visitor and understand how different campaigns contributed to each goal completion.

A Customer Journey in Mapp Intelligence captures the sequence of campaign interactions users have before reaching a defined website goal (e.g., purchase, signup). It forms the basis for attribution analyses, which determine the contribution of each interaction to conversions. For more information, see Campaign Configuration.
