Locations: Statuses and Actions

Overview

Locations can be in Draft, Active, or Inactive status. Each status controls which actions are available, such as editing, assigning to clusters, or deactivation. Understanding these options helps you manage when a location can trigger a sendout and how it participates in clusters.


Statuses and Actions

The following actions are available per status. UI actions are shown in bold.

Edit

Edit any location-specific details defined during set-up.

Delete

Delete the location and all location-specific data.

Assign

Assign the location to one, all existing, or a selected cluster.

Unassign

Remove the location from one, from all, or from selected clusters.

Active

Deactivate

Manually deactivate the location so it cannot trigger a sendout.

Assign

Assign the location to one, all existing, or a selected cluster.

Unassign

Remove the location from one, from all, or from selected clusters.

Inactive

Edit

Edit any location-specific details defined during set-up.

Delete the location and all location-specific data.

Scheduled Location Deactivation

Use scheduled deactivation to automatically stop a location from triggering sendouts at a defined date and time.

  1. Activate the Schedule Deactivation on Delivery option during Location set-up, after the activation start is defined.

  2. Enter the deactivation date and time.

Behavior and settings

  • The time zone selected in activation scheduling is used by default for deactivation scheduling.

  • After you save and activate all settings, the scheduled deactivation date and time are applied to the defined location.
