# Monitoring & Logs

The Log Tracker provides tools for analyzing recent system events in Engage and locating relevant log entries.

> The Log Tracker only displays historical information. This means that the activities shown have already taken place and are recorded on a log. The Log Tracker only stores log entries for the last 30 days. Information for older system events is not available.

A process takes place over time. The start time and finish time for a process are recorded on a log and are available in the **Log Tracker**. The current status of a running process is not available. You can find this information in the **Processes** area of Engage.

The Log Tracker does not display message-related recipient activity. You can find this type of information in the **Statistics** area of Engage. For more information, see [Statistics](/v1/docs/online-help-statistics).
