# Mapp Acquire: First-Party Tracking Domain

**04 Nov 2020** Mapp Acquire allows you to use your own - first party - domain for tracking your contacts' behavior on the web. This solution prevents the tracking from being blocked, which might happen for third-party tracking domains in some browsers. Get more high-quality data from your tracking pixels.

## Availability

Available on all Acquire accounts and required some additional setting up. Contact your Account Manager for more information.

## How does it work?

1. Create a CNAME record.
2. Mapp requests a TLS certificate for handling the incoming data from the pixels.
3. Add your tracking domain in Mapp Acquire.
