Mapp Cloud: Debugger Updates 1.4

Prev Next

16 September 2025 Our Debugging tool has been updated to make it easier to analyze tracking data, now including Mapp Fashion requests and a small timestamp fix.

What’s new?

Features

  • Mapp Fashion requests are now available

The Debugger now supports Mapp Fashion requests based on the latest Snowplow integration. These requests are normally Base64-encoded and, therefore, difficult to inspect manually. The Debugger now automatically decodes them, so you can view the transmitted data directly.

    • UE requests (Unstructured Events) contain the product-level data that power Mapp Fashion Recommendations, such as personalized outfit suggestions or context-driven product recommendations.

      Tip

You can display the payload directly in the request list. In the request configuration, go to Show Meta Informations and enter “payload” in the “Parameter data” field.

    • Page View (pv) and Page Ping (pp) requests provide additional context on user activity, though the UE events are typically the most relevant for debugging.

    Note

If you already have the plugin installed, you need to activate Fashion requests in the request config. For new implementations, they’re activated by default.

Bug Fix

  • Timestamps in long URLs

URLs with more than 13 digits now show the correct timestamp.

Availability

These updates are available with the latest Mapp Cloud Debugger version 1.4, which is already live in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox.
