# Mapp Connect: Related Data Integration

**18 September** **2024**Related Data can now be integrated within Mapp Connect, offering greater flexibility and freedom for your insight-driven marketing.

- A new Related Data mapping subtype to enable the new functionality

## How does it work?

### Prerequisites

1. The related data tables are set up in Mapp Engage. For more information, see [Related Data](/v1/docs/administration-related-data).
2. The integration must use the same attribute names as in the related data tables.

**Steps**

Mapping for the Related Data subtype is optional. You can add the Related Data subtype as a source and choose the Related Data table you want to map to a destination.

1. **Open your integration**

Go to *Data Management > Mapp Connect* and open the integration you want to configure.
2. **Navigate to the Mapping Tab** Open the *Mapping* tab in your Mapp Connect integration.
3. **Add a New Mapping**
  - Click the **+** (plus) icon to add a new mapping.
  - Select the **Subtype** as *Related Data* from the drop-down menu and enter a name.
  - Click **Create**.
4. **Edit the Mapping**
  - **Add Source**: Choose the relevant source for the mapping.
  - *(Optional)* Configure any source transformations as needed.
5. **Define Mapping Details**
  - Set the **Mapping Subtype** to *Related Data*.
  - Select the **Destination Attribute** as *Related Data*.
6. **Specify Related Data**
  - Choose the required **Related Data Table**.
  - Select the appropriate **Column** from the table.
7. **Save Changes** Click **Save** to finalize your mapping.

This feature is being rolled out as part of our September launch, which went live on September 18th.
