# Mapp Engage: Group Category Filter in Segmentation Builder

**07 Sep 2021** You can assign categories to your contact groups in Mapp Engage to make it easier for you to manage and reuse them. Mapp's Segmentation Builder now also allows you to filter your audiences by group category.

## How does it work?

You can select **Group Category** when you define the Group Membership condition. Group categories can be created under *Administration > Categories*.

## Availability

This feature is part of our Summer 2021 product update. It is available to all Engage clients as of September 7th, 2021.
