# Mapp Engage: Improvements in Group Membership Conditions

**11 May 2021** **Group Membership Status** and **Group Membership Since** selection categories are now one category, called **Group Membership**. Segmenting your audiences in Segmentation Builder is now easier and more intuitive.

## Key Benefits

- Choose both the group and membership timeframe using one selection category.
- Select one or more membership statuses: Active, Pending, or Deactivated.
- Enjoy a simpler user interface, and use fewer conditions for the same result.

## How does it work?

The new selection category is simply called Group Membership. Within this category you can select both the specific group, and the time when the contact was a member of that group.

## Availability

This feature is part of our Spring 2021 product update. It is available by default to all users of the Segmentation Builder as of 11 May 2021.
