Mapp Engage: Multi-Factor Authentication

23 May 2019 For secure log in, ​Mapp Engage​ now offers multi-factor authentication (MFA). Multi-factor authentication is a secure, standard solution to authenticate and manage users securely. To use MFA, you will have to download an app such as ​Google Authenticator​. With this app, you only need to enter a verification code in addition to the classic user name and password combination.

• Connect to third-party identity providers.

• Use an encrypted JSON Web Token (JWT) instead of user credentials for secure authentication in Mapp Cloud.

Availability

Multi-factor authentication is planned for rollout from mid-June to mid-July, 2019. If you want to enable MFA earlier, contact your account manager.
