Multi-factor authentication is a secure, standard solution to authenticate and manage users securely. To use MFA, you will have to download an app such as Google Authenticator. With this app, you only need to enter a verification code in addition to the classic user name and password combination. ## Key Benefits - Authenticate and manage users securely with an industry-standard solution. - Configure password expiry and reminder periods for all system users. - Connect to third-party identity providers. - Use an encrypted JSON Web Token (JWT) instead of user credentials for secure authentication in Mapp Cloud. ## Availability Multi-factor authentication is planned for rollout from mid-June to mid-July, 2019. If you want to enable MFA earlier, contact your account manager. ## Related Topics [Secure Login to Mapp Engage](/v1/docs/secure-login-to-mapp-engage)
