# Mapp Engage: Preview Prepared Messages in External Platforms via Mapp API

**10 Feb 2021** Mapp Cloud offers a new API for prepared messages. In addition to finding and sending, you can now also get (retrieve) prepared messages from Engage via Mapp's API and preview them in your external system.

## Key Benefits

There are many possible use cases for using this API call. Here are a few common ones:

- Display messages in your loyalty system.
- Perform QA on your messages.
- Archive messages in external systems, for example, for legal compliance.
