# Mapp Engage React Native SDK 2.0.0 (Expo Support)

**2 September 2026** Version 2.0.0 of the Mapp Engage React Native SDK is now available. It adds first-time support for Expo, React Native's managed build toolchain, and changes platform requirements and the behavior of some existing methods for applications currently on 1.4.2.

## Expo support

Mapp now supports Expo through a config plugin, with no manual native setup required. See the [Expo Integration Guide](/docs/en/expo-integration-guide-react-native-engage) for setup.

> Expo Go is not supported. Use a development build instead.

## Breaking changes
