6 August 2026 Mapp Fashion recommendations can now be requested directly through the Mapp Fashion extension for the Mapp Intelligence Smart Pixel. You no longer need to build the HTTP request, configure the host, or pass the shopper context yourself.

One call per recommendation type, with the same parameters as the API. The extension handles the request and the shopper context.
Recommendations for the basket page
Basket recommendations are available without passing any product codes. The extension uses the basket contents from your product tracking, and products already in the basket are excluded from the results.
Recommendations without a starting product
Top items follow the shopper's preferences and need no product context, which makes them suitable for homepages and landing pages.
How Does it Work?
Five recommendation types are available. Outfits, partner outfits and similar items start from a product you pass to the call. Top items and basket items need no product.
