By making the descriptions visible to your entire team, you ensure they're used correctly because everyone understands the logic behind the custom metrics and formulas.

How does it work?

If the description of the custom figure has been added by the metric author, it will also be visible in the new Description field in the metric or formula configuration.

1. In an analysis, right-click on a figure to open the context menu.

2. Click Configure metric.

3. The new Description field appears in the Configure Metric window.
