# Requirements & Compatibility

## Supported OS versions

- iOS 12 or later (also covers iPadOS).

> [!NOTE]
> **Please note:**
> 
> The SDK only supports native applications written in Swift or Objective-C. watchOS and tvOS are no longer supported (sunset with version 5.0.6, December 2023).

## Languages and toolchain

- **Languages:** Swift 5.x or Objective-C.
- **Xcode:** 14 or later (recommended for the modern SPM dialog and Privacy Manifest support).
- **iOS Deployment Target:** 12.0 or higher.

## Development environment

The SDK can be integrated using any development environment. We recommend using [Apple's Xcode IDE](https://developer.apple.com/xcode/).

We offer installation via the following package managers:

- [CocoaPods](https://cocoapods.org/pods/MappIntelligence)
- [Swift Package Manager](https://swift.org/package-manager/)

The SDK ships an Apple **Privacy Manifest** (`MappIntelligencePrivacyInfo.xcprivacy`) and is also available as an **XCFramework** (since version 5.1.0) for easier integration in environments such as React Native.
